Thanks so much to Ron Mercante!! We just moved into our house in Middletown, having relocated from NY. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very patient with any questions or concerns that we had. He was with us every step of the way, always ready to go above and beyond what was required. He had many valuable insights and is a definite asset to Active Adults Realty!!

We were fortunate to have Ron Mercante as the realtor to help us transition and downsize from Northern New Jersey to Delaware. Ron protected us from any problems with his appropriate interventions. He has excellent customer service skills and was sincere in meeting all of our desires. The process was wonderful because of his knowledge and experience. Once our house was found, he and the team at Active Adults Realty worked out all of the logistics and concerns. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and competent. This past weekend my husband and I had the good fortune to meet with Ron Mercante from Active Adults Realty. He showed us some really terrific communities which had exactly what we were looking for. The homes he showed us were exactly what we wanted. There was absolutely no hard sell. In fact, we had explained we are not ready to purchase for a bit yet. That was no problem. Ron spent all the time we needed showing us around and answering all of our questions. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We are so happy we chose Active Adults Realty. I know they know exactly what we want and showed us perfect matches and showed us homes in our price range. We could not have been more pleased. I am looking forward to doing business with them in the near future.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ron Mercante from Active Adults realty. He had lined up several homes for us to see. Each one was exactly what we had explained we were looking for. We let Ron know even before we arrived, that we are not in position to move right now. Just wanted to get some ideas. Well, I could not be happier. No hard sell at all. We came to the Delaware area knowing nothing about housing in and around Smyrna. Ron Mercante basically took us under his wing and went out of his way to show us everything that was available. He never rushed us or tried to have us settle on something we didn't feel 100 % about. His attention to our wants and desires his very easy going style and demeanor really made us feel at ease in what could be a nerve wracking experience finding a new home. We really applaud Ron as a consummate professional who I would eagerly recommend to anyone else.

So, picked Ron Mercante on the website fall of 2020. He continually kept in touch with us in Maine all the way to where we are now. We wanted to be close to kids and grands and in our conversations Ron really listened. He wanted to know us. Our NJ house sold the Beginning of April so we came to Delaware to look for a 55+place near our family. We actually looked at places in Georgetown DE and sent them to Ron; his response was priceless, "you do not want to live there." Ron had gotten to know us and knew that would never work for us. Middletown is a very popular place so pickings were slim.
But Ron insisted we go look at Whispering Woods, a sold out community except for the models. We fell in love with the Dupont but the models weren't to be sold until the end of 2021. Once again Ron proposed "make an offer". Well Thanks to Ron we are now living in that Dupont model.
Why take your chances with an unknown realtor when you can use Ron with confidence that he will put you 1st!!

No one could ask for anything more in a Realtor than the service and professionalism that Ron Mercante provides. Buying and selling a home is stressful to say the least, but Ron has a way of putting everyone's anxiety at ease. He guided us through the process seamlessly, worked and negotiated to get the best outcome from our real estate transaction. It even felt as if Ron was part of our family for a few months, talking with us and helping us through all of the hurdles. He even offered to help with moving! Of course we did not take him up on it, but it was nice that he extended the offer!

Moving from another state was stressful but working with Ron Mercante and the Active Adults Realty team made the transition less stressful.
